Hot Tub User Manual – How to Prepare Your Hot Tub
To enjoy your hot tub safely and comfortably, you need to follow these steps:
- Place your hot tub on a flat, level surface (e.g., a wooden terrace or concrete surface). If the hot tub is not positioned correctly on the surface, it can lose strength, stability, or even aesthetic appearance.
- Wash your hot tub thoroughly before using it. The polypropylene (plastic) tubs can be cleaned using the same chemicals as for cleaning pools. The fiberglass tubs need specialized chemicals suited for SPA baths and recommended doses.
- Fill your hot tub with water (tap water). Before using heating on the hot tub, make sure to fill water up, leaving 10 cm from the top of the edges.
How to Connect Your Hot Tub to Electricity
If your hot tub has electrical components (SPA systems, LED lighting, filters, electrical heating), you need to connect them to a stationary electrical wire. This way, you do not need any electrical outlets. The static wire needs to be connected to the hot tub’s relay.
Electrical Safety
• Make sure the electricity has grounding to avoid electrical equipment problems and ensure safety.
How to Prepare Your Wooden Hot Tub for Use
You need to follow some steps to prepare your wooden hot tub for use and enjoy it safely and comfortably. Here are the steps:
- Fill the Tub with Water. Use tap water to fill the tub until there is 10 cm space from the top of the edges. Do not make a fire if the tub is not filled with enough water.
- Empty the Tub in Winter. Drain the water from the tub when the outside temperature is below zero to prevent the stove from cracking.
- Start the Stove. Use dry and small firewood to start the stove, and then add larger firewood.
- Estimate the Heating Time. The heating time depends on the size of the tub and the type of stove. It can vary from 2 to 3.5 hours.

- Fill the tub with water (tap water), leaving 10 cm from the top of the edges.
- Do not light the heater until the tub has the appropriate amount of water because the emitted heat will damage the tub.
Fire Up the Heater
- Fire up the heater with small pieces of wood and paper. When the flame is getting bigger, add more pieces of dry wood.
- Adjust the fire traction with the oven door deflector.
- Do not add more wood than two-thirds of the height of the heater.
- Do not let the flame burn through the doors.
Monitor the Water Temperature
- Monitor the water temperature in fiberglass hot tubs.
- Do not let it rise higher than +45°C as the higher temperature can damage the fiberglass alloy.
Release the Water
- Release the water from the tub only when the heater is completely cooled.
- Otherwise, the remaining heat will damage the hot tub and the heater.
Hot Tub – User Manual – How to Use Your Hot Tub with Electric Heater
This user manual will guide you on how to use your hot tub with an electric heater safely and comfortably. Please follow these steps:
- Fill the Tub with Water. Use tap water to fill the tub until there is 10 cm space from the top of the edges. Do not turn on the heater if the water level has not reached its recommended level.
- Activate the Circulation Pump. Press the buttons on the panel of the tub to start the water flow through the heater.
- Adjust the Temperature. Use the swirling dial on the heater to set your desired temperature. The heater will turn on and off automatically to maintain the set temperature.
- Turn Off the Heater and the Pump. When you are done using the hot tub, turn the dial to 0°C to turn off the heater. Then press the buttons on the panel to turn off the circulation pump.
- Drain the Water. Only drain the water from the tub when the heater and the pump are switched off.
Note: Water temperature in fiberglass hot tubs cannot rise higher than +45°C as the higher temperature can damage the fiberglass liner.
How to Use the Electric Heater in Cold Weather
If the outside temperature is below zero, you need to follow these steps to prevent the circulation pump from freezing:
- Set the Temperature to 0°C. Before filling the hot tub with water, turn the dial on the heater to 0°C.
- Pour Warm Water. Pour 20-30 L of warm water in the hot tub and turn on the circulation pump. This will warm up the pump and the pipes.

How to Use and Maintain Your Spa Systems
Your hot tub has two types of spa systems that can enhance your relaxation: air massage and water massage. This section will explain how to use and maintain them properly.
Air Massage System
The air massage system creates bubbles in the water with an air compressor (700W power) and 12 pieces of air jets mounted in the wall of the tub. You can turn the air massage on or off with the button on the panel of the hot tub.
Note: To prevent water from staying in the system, keep the air massage active for 30 seconds after draining the water from the tub.
Note: In the cold season, you can turn on the air massage system only when the water temperature is above 30°C.
Water Massage System
The water massage system creates jets of water with a water compressor (900W-1100W power) and six pieces of water jets or a water compressor (2200W control) and ten pieces of water jets. You can turn the water massage on or off with the button on the panel of the hot tub. You can also adjust the water flow and spray power with the additional controller (a compact design with a rotatable handle) next to the on/off button on the tub panel.
Note: To prevent water from staying in the system, keep the water massage active for 30 seconds after draining the water from the tub.
Note: In the cold season, you can turn on the water massage system only when the water temperature is above 30°C.
How to Use and Maintain Your Water Filters
Your hot tub has a sand water filter that cleans the water in the tub. This section will explain how to use and maintain it properly.
- Place the sand water filter next to the tub and connect it by two hoses that filter the water in the tub.
- Close the filter openings inside the tub in the cold season, when the air temperature is below 0°C. This will prevent the water from reaching and freezing the filter connection hoses.
- Open the filter openings when the heated tub warms up to +30°C. If the tub is kept at a constant temperature, the filter can be used in sub-zero weather.
Other Information
- Do not keep water in the tub if the outside air temperature is below zero. An oven or electric heater cannot keep the tub warm at the optimal water temperature.
- Paint the tub at least once a year with impregnate liquid or outdoor paint.
- Clean the oven every 3-5 times after using the hot tub, using a small spatula.
- Use the recommended doses of chemicals for water care. Only use specialized SPA bath chemicals with recommended doses for fiberglass hot tubs, as they are especially sensitive.
- Avoid using unsuitable chemicals or higher doses than recommended, as you may damage the hot tubs or heaters and lose the warranty service.
- Do not leave a functional hot tub without any attention.
- Do not leave children unattended inside a hot tub or next to it while the water is filled up for any circumstances.
- Be safe with the fireplace if you heat the tub with an external or internal heater.
- Use the hot tubs, heaters, massage systems, filter systems, and other components as intended and described in these instructions; otherwise, you will lose the warranty service.
